Particle Number Emissions of a Euro 6d-Temp Gasoline Vehicle under Extreme Temperatures and Driving Conditions

چکیده
With the introduction of gasoline particulate filters (GPFs), particle number (PN) emissions direct-injection (GDI) vehicles are below European regulatory limit 6 × 1011 p/km under certification conditions. Nevertheless, concerns have been raised regarding emission levels at boundaries ambient and driving conditions real-driving (RDE) regulation. A Euro 6d-Temp GDI vehicle with a GPF was tested on road in laboratory cycles simulating congested urban traffic, dynamic driving, towing trailer uphill 85% maximum payload. The temperatures covered range from ?30 to 50 °C. solid PN were 10 times lower than most temperatures. Only that regenerated filter passively, for next cycle resulted relatively high although they still limit. results this study confirmed effectiveness GPFs controlling wide

Comparison of particle mass and solid particle number (SPN) emissions from a heavy-duty diesel vehicle under on-road driving conditions and a standard testing cycle.
It is important to understand the differences between emissions from standard laboratory testing cycles and those from actual on-road driving conditions, especially for solid particle number (SPN) emissions now being regulated in Europe. This study compared particle mass and SPN emissions from a heavy-duty diesel vehicle operating over the urban dynamometer driving schedule (UDDS) and actual on...
متن کاملDetermination ofinterfacial temperatures under extreme pressure conditions
Interfacial temperatures attained in a pin and v-block apparatus under extreme pressure (EP) conditions were measured using pins made from either copper or an aluminum alloy from the asymptotes in the curve of removal rate versus applied load since these have been shown to correspond to the temperatures at which the interfacial material melts. The interfacial temperature rise was proportional t...
متن کاملReal-world emissions of gasoline passenger cars in Macao and their correlation with driving conditions
Using a portable emissions measurement system, 16 gasoline passenger cars were tested on a fixed route consisting of different types of roads in Macao and the data were normalized with the vehicle-specific power bin method. The normalized HC, CO and NOX emission levels of the seven passenger car samples with model year older than 2000 were 3.19 ± 5.04, 14.59 ± 22.88, 2.57 ± 2.12 g/km, respectiv...
متن کاملA Comparison of Light-duty Vehicle Emissions over Different Test Cycles and in Real Driving Conditions
The European Commission is examining test procedures to ensure that light-duty vehicle emissions are well controlled both in real use and over the legislative test cycle. At the same time, the UN Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) has developed a Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) that is expected to be used for Type Approval in the EU in the future. To identify...
